Through Fantasy Golf I've made some great friends, and I've asked a few of them to join me this year in doing some weekly predictions and to have a friendly challenge.

Who are the Fantasy Pro's ?This crew met through a fantasy golf league (Kerplookee) and our common bond is our competitive spirit and our love of golf. We're not afraid of a little trash talking or in some cases, like me, following our hearts. Join us each week as we post our predictions and genius ideas for fantasy golf picks! Let me introduce to you the Crew:
Drew - XTRALONGTEES - XTRA and I met though the former Kerplookee Golf League. I was doing some weekly predictions and I asked him if he'd like to team up with me for some weekly picks - turns out we both live in Minnesota! Drew has the uncanny combination of stats, secret sources, and (on occasion) a dart board that keeps him in the hunt in just about every league he's in. I'm a little nervous going against him instead of picking with him!
Chuck - as one of the founders of the former Kerplookee golf league, Chuck has fantasy golf running through his veins! His knack for picking top finishers each week was both impressive and annoying!! You just know that there's a golf stat vault in his brain that makes him a "go to" guy for Fantasy Golf advice.
Cathy - over the years I've done my share of golf predictions with varying amounts of success - from my beginnings in the Fantasy Golf world with my brother, I've constantly fought against studying stats vs. going with my heart. And as you may have guessed, often times my heart wins! But I've learned a lot from the guys mentioned above and I'm going to give it my best shot!!
Jeremy - HittDog - this fellow Midwesterner (SD) proved to be a formidable competitor in fantasy golf picks right away after he joined in over at Kerplookee. This guy knows his golfers!
Matt - Matt is the guy behind Buzz Fantasy Leagues. How great is that?! You have to think a guy that runs a fantasy golf site probably knows a little bit about giving picks advice! Welcome to the crew, Matt!

Our Fantasy Golf Weekly PicksThe Players Championship Field- PGA Tour CLICK HERE for our Weekly Picks!Our rules are fairly simple - we'll pick 6 players each week - 3 top players and 3 dark horses - the definition of dark horse is a player in the field outside of the Top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR). The OWGR list has been updated! (see below for the top 50 and a link to the OWGR site)
We'll keep track of the success of our picks by earning points based on our players finishes: 20 points for picking the winner, 10 points for a Top 10 finish, and 5 points for a Top 25 finish.

Week 18: Wells Fargo Championship
Matt from Buzz Leagues had a great week in our points league! All three of his top picks were in the Top 25 and he had JB Holmes in the Dark Horse category - Matt passed up Jeremy in the Top Picks, and took over the top spot in the Dark Horses. Jeremy and Cathy need to play catch up next week.

Buzz Fantasy Golf Leagues - Free and Fee Based Leagues 
Buzz Fantasy Leagues offers a free league as well as options for creating private league (for a fee). They are also offering a "Make the Cut" league for a $4.95 per team fee - you pick a player each week, if they make the cut you stay alive, miss the cut, and you're out...you can only pick a player once.
