This week's predictions:
Since this is a week of all winners from the 2014 season, it's hard to breakout any dark horses, so I'm going to go with my 3 picks for the week. And even though the field is only 34 players as of Friday, this isn't as easy as I thought!
In my 2015 Crystal Ball predictions I went with Patrick Reed as my pick for the winner of the TOC. Maybe I'm still riding his Ryder Cup performance feeling, but he has played a few times in November & December and had a T3 at the Hero Challenge.
Looking at last year's results to find tome tips for this year is a challenge because the field has so many different qualifiers this year. But has a look through the list, one name sticks out...Matt Kuchar. Yes, I know this can definitely qualify as a heart pick for me, but Matt has a pretty good history here and enjoys Hawaii. I feel like 2015 is going to be a record setting year for Kuchar, so a win here would be a great start!
My third pick was really tough...I went back and forth on several players but decided to go with Jason Day. Day has only played in the TOC once, in 2011 and had a T4, but his passion and game is something I think can shine in this limited field event.
I'm wondering if I will change these ideas before the cut-off, but I think the truth is there are more than a handful of players that could be the first winner in 2015.
Good Luck to all Fantasy Players!
