The Roller Coaster that is Fantasy Golf

I'm 4 weeks into Fantasy Golf over at Buzz Fantasy Golf.  I'm currently playing the Free Game with 198 other players.  The first week I got 4th, and then week 2 put me in first place for the week and the season!  I was so excited!!  

Week 3 I ended up 27th place for the week but still first place overall - I'm not sure how in the world it happened because I didn't realize the Farmer's Insurance open started on Wednesday and I didn't submit a new team - thankfully I had 3 players in the field from the week before, that kept my overall in first place.

Then came week 4 - the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.  Still being a bit rusty in fantasy golf and PGA Tour schedules, I didn't realize this was high-stakes payout event and having the winner, and having them in the double points could get you around $4 million. 

I ended up with only a little over $1.4M and shot down to 60th for the week and 25th for the season.  Oh how the mighty have fallen!!  HA!

I'm going to have to hunker down and start looking at players a little more.  I had decent guys on my team but they didn't perform.  Congrats to all who pick Rory (I swear I was going to pick him on the double, but took Scheffler instead.

Upcoming for this week is the Waste Management Open - fun tournament and decent field.
I'll take a look tomorrow and see what I can find out about players for a hopeful rebound this week.
