Golf Product Reviews

I've always valued good and honest reviews of golf products.
And these days, you just don't know if the person you're reading is an actual consumer or a paid "spokesperson" for the product.  So I'm offering you my honest, personal opinion on golf items I've run across  If by chance I've been given a product to review I will let you know, but I will be honest in my thoughts and recommendations.
Please let me know what you think!

Review:  Swinger Box Golf

I found Swinger Golf (www.swingerboxgolf.com) when I was following up on some of the golf dreamers I wrote about back in 2009.  Erik Tammar, one of those dreamers who moved to Thailand to improve his golf game, created the Swinger Box, to offer convenience for the avid golfer to get a glove, some tees, and 3 premium golf balls for themselves or as a gift.  There is a subscription service where you can pre-pay and get boxes delivered on your schedule, or just buy one for yourself!

Ordering was easy - I clicked on Buy A Box and clicked on the Ladies Swinger Box.  You have to pick your glove hand and size and you're all set!  I received a confirmation email and within 5 days my box was in my mailbox!  I also checked out the site via the mobile platform, it looks great and easy to navigate, too!

My box included my glove, which fit like a glove (I wear a women's Large and it was true to size), 3 Bridgestone B330's, all kinds of tees, and a poker chip (as a free extra!).  The glove was better than i expected - it had the stretchy nylon over the knuckles and it felt light but sturdy.  I was happy with my golf ball brand, but be aware that you will get a golf ball that was ranked Gold or better in the Golf Digest Hot List, so they can vary by box.  The tees were great, too!!  Last year when I bought some tees at a local pro shop they were almost all one & done, breaking nearly every time.  These tees look well made and long enough for those that tee it high but also for those of us who tee it a little lower, too.
Over to the right is a screen shot of what you get in the box, and mine also included the Poker Chip.  It's a neat add on, but I think I would prefer just a small metal ball marker (I don't even need the clip!).

The retail cost of the swinger box is $20.00 and that includes shipping!  AND, if you "Like" Swinger Box Golf on Facebook you can use Promo Code Like and get 10% off!

I think it's a pretty good value for what you get - a nice glove, a sleeve of good balls, and about 2 dozen nice tees.

You can also get just the gloves, or just tees, or just golf balls if you want.  Click on the Order a Box and  you'll see all the options!  Overall I was really impressed with what I got and think it's a great gift for that golfer in your life!!  It might be a bit tricky on getting the glove size right, but mine was true to size from the FootJoy that I have.  The only downside to all of this for me is that it's February and I'm in Minnesota!  I will be sure to update here when I get the chance to use all of my goodies.

And please let me know if you buy one and what you think of it!
