We've hit the downward slide into November, and normally we're may-be following Q-school (and if you aren't you should - there are some Great stories there!) - but good heavens, all you have to do is browse some golf news...like Tees2Greens very own Golf International posts...and you'll see some big time golf stories...and it's November!!

It was fairly predictable that Sam Johnson would write about Tiger Woods this week. The man crush made its regular appearance, and with thousands of guys with the same affliction it makes perfect sense that we'd see Tiger's name in his latest posting.
But after what the gals on the LPGA and European tour did last week I was sort of hoping he'd surprise us all and give a nod and a few keystrokes to the Solheim Cup instead. I wanted to write about Tiger Woods!! But alas, I will dedicate my thoughts this week to an event that might not even hit the radar screen to the boys who play their weekly skins matches at the country club or the guys who just like to see someone hit the ball 300+ every time. I have to believe that for those of us passionate about the game in the big picture saw the Solheim Cup as a success on many levels and I think it deserves some kudos.

My head has been swimming in golf thoughts lately...all kinds of them. First, and most importantly, after 5 months without swinging a club I finally played golf last Saturday! It was awesome to have golf shoes on my feet and tees in my pockets again. My swing definitely had to shake off the cobwebs, and off-season arm and neck issues proved that they're not quite ready to leave me yet, but I still loved the heavenly sound of my ball dropping into the cup on each hole, even if it took me an extra shot or two to get there (and just for the record, I'm 1-0 vs. Gunner!). Now that my clubs have found their way to the back of my car, they will be there until November. Ah, golf season is finally here.
When I found Tees2Greens website and forum I found a happy place. There were great people there and in 2009 they asked me if I wanted my own blog space. It was a dream come true!! The site is down now, but I was able to get all of my posts to be able to post here. I will always be grateful for all of the Tees2Greens folks!!
